In such an understanding of reality, it is relative worth defined by individuals which determines value of the individual. It is this physical understanding of reality which establishes the concept that it is the physical characteristic of the individual which determines the value of the individual. It is the understanding that reality is in essence ultimately physical which causes us to believe, survival of fittest trumps all. It is the understanding that reality is defined by the physical which has led to our inability to understand evil, to our inability to admit that there is such a thing as evil and this in turn has led to our inability to address the issue of evil since we are reluctant to even speak of evil existing.
