Dale Gillette is a retired scientist who worked for more than 37 years at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, the University of Colorado, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Laboratoire Interuniversitaire des Sciences Atmospheriques (University of Paris 12).  He was an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado and at Duke University.  He wrote over 120 published scientific articles.  He presently lives in Raleigh, NC.  His passionate interest in panentheism is described in the article “ My path to panentheism and William James’ Varieties of Religious Experience.”   He has four children and a wife.
